The People

How It All Started
Lionhearts Movie tracks a grassroots obstacle-course fitness community where kids and adults rebuild strength, confidence, and purpose. Inside a scrappy gym and out on muddy courses, we meet volunteers, coaches, and families turning sweat into second chances. The film celebrates effort over ego—showing how movement, mentorship, and belonging can pull people through hard seasons and point them toward a life they didn’t think was possible.

You have questions.
Who is in it?
Why it matters.
Luccketta – At just 21, Luccketta turned personal tragedy into purpose. After losing a close friend to suicide, he founded Lionhearts Fitness to create a space where kids could build confidence, connection, and resilience through obstacle course racing.
The Lionhearts Kids – Dozens of young athletes reclaiming their strength and voice—many for the first time—through sweat, encouragement, and shared struggle.
Spartan Elite Athletes – Featuring Cole DeRosa, Chainsaw Rick, and other top-tier OCR competitors who train with, inspire, and uplift the Lionhearts.
Parents, volunteers, and community leaders – A grassroots support network showing up daily to make sure no kid falls through the cracks.
Youth sports are failing too many kids—pricing them out, burning them out, or leaving them behind. Lionhearts Movie showcases a different way forward: one built on sweat, mud, and unconditional support. It’s a call to action for parents, coaches, educators, and anyone who believes in second chances and showing up for the next generation.

Lionhearts Movie is a heartfelt look at how one fitness family built a movement from the mud up. Follow Coach Luccketta and the Lionhearts community as they help kids discover confidence, leadership, and resilience—one obstacle at a time. This short documentary is an invitation to reimagine youth sports as a tool for healing, hope, and human connection.
