# Exciting News: Our Short Film "Lessons We Learn From Sports" Selected for TIIFF!

We’re thrilled to share that our short film,
Lessons We Learn From Sports
has received its first official selection—screening at the Tennessee International Indie Film Festival in Franklin, TN this fall! A huge congratulations to director Chris Moreland, producers Neil Kagan, Jack Allen, and Katie Moreland, as well as cinematographers Justin Bethune, Sierra Smith, and Blake DeRusha for achieving the first of what we expect to be many festival selections for this important project.
About the Film
Lessons We Learn From Sports is a short documentary focused on mental health and youth sports. Our goal is to give parents actionable strategies to help their kids navigate complex but critical life skills—leadership, teamwork, patience, and resilience.
The film features invaluable insights from local youth football coaches and from Dr. Bhrett McCabe, known as the psychologist of champions. Dr. McCabe has worked with elite athletes and teams at the highest level, including multiple NCAA National Championship winners such as LSU Football and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

By sharing the voices of coaches, sports psychologists, and families, we aim to empower parents with practical, real-world tools to support their children’s mental and emotional growth through athletics.
